Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran since 2005, will leave office after eight years this June. What is his legacy and what is the future of US-Iranian relations?
Dr. Jonathan Cristol is the director of the Bard Globalization and International Affairs (BGIA) Program in New York City. Dr. Cristol has hosted, moderated, and attended discussions with Iranian officials at the diplomatic, ministerial, ambassadorial, and presidential levels. He also teaches a course on ‘The United States and the Modern Middle East.’
